Celebrating Kenya’s Heritage, Diversity and Unity
On Friday, 11th September 2026, St. Francis Moto Hope Academy came alive with colour, culture, creativity, and excitement as we celebrated our annual Cultural Day under the inspiring theme “Many Faces, One School.”
The celebration provided a wonderful opportunity for our learners to appreciate Kenya’s rich cultural heritage while showcasing their creativity, talents, and pride in our diverse communities.
A major highlight of the day was the vibrant display of traditional folk dances, with learners representing four Kenyan communities through carefully prepared performances.
🎭 Agikuyu — Gucu ni Gucucu
🎭 Gusii — Ekio Nki Ekio
🎭 Kalenjin — Kechomyen Patiem
🎭 Maasai — Intadoi Enteti
Through these performances, our learners celebrated the beauty of different traditions while learning the importance of respecting and appreciating cultural diversity.
The theme “Many Faces, One School” captured the spirit of the celebration perfectly. Although our cultural backgrounds and traditions may differ, we remain united as one school community, sharing the same values, aspirations, and vision for the future.
At St. Francis Moto Hope Academy, we believe that education extends beyond academic excellence. By celebrating culture, creativity, and diversity, we empower our learners to embrace their identity, respect others, and contribute positively to a united society.
Many Faces. One School. One Family. One Future. ❤️
